What's My Current Inspo?

Everyone has days where they look at all their clothes and it's hard to find something to wear. Even I go through phases where my closet feels so uninspired that I don't really like anything. The reality though is that I have a large closet and I have millions of combinations of outfits left to try and many combinations that are worth repeating. My closet is as interesting as I want it to be.

Versatility of articles of clothing isn't something I've spoke much about, but it something that I'm quite interested in. Here are some things on my radar and some inspo pics off my Pinterest:

Sweaters over Dresses

First, I love how other creators have paired chunky sweaters over lightweight sundresses for example and paired juxtaposing textures or colors together in unique ways. I love how a thick knit sweater contrasts a thinner more flowy fabric of a dress or skirt. It's perfect for fall or maybe even winter with tights.

Tonal Dressing

Another vibe that I'm really inspired by recently is tonal dressing. It's where you wear only different shades or hues of a certain color (with maybe a neutral accent piece or two). There's something sophisticated about the pairing even though the pieces don't match.

Navy with Black

Lastly, I've been intrigued about mixing navy and black. I've obviously done a whole black outfit with dark jeans before, but I love the idea of mixing dark blues/purples/greens with black. It's kind of a play on tonal or all black outfits that looks so intentional.
